Big changes are coming to Currie View Park! The community is invited to attend a groundbreaking ceremony on Friday, February 28, at 12 PM at 17260 153rd Street SE to celebrate the start of this exciting project.
Construction will officially begin on March 3 and is expected to be completed by the end of April, bringing a bigger and better play experience for families in the area.
What’s Coming to Currie View Park?
The new play equipment has been thoughtfully designed to:
✅ Encourage multi-generational play – something for kids, parents, and grandparents to enjoy together!
✅ Be ADA-inclusive – breaking down physical and social barriers to create a welcoming space for all.
✅ Feature a playful and visually appealing theme – making the park a fun and engaging destination.
✅ Offer advanced climbing and motion activities – perfect for older kids who love a challenge!
The new play area will be three times larger than the previous one and will be relocated closer to the park’s frontage for better public access.
